Please Read: Future Touring Plans

Hi, and thanks for reading this.
You find me at the start of a pretty busy spell; I have several gigs over the next couple of weeks before heading off on my Autumn Tour.
Over the last couple of years, I've restricted tours to one per year, usually in the Autumn. However, this year's will be my last of those too. Family circumstances mean that longer spells away from home no longer work, so I'll be restricting shows to the North of England, with the occasional couple of nights further South, but further jaunts into the South West and such are now highly unlikely to happen again following this tour. For a little more info, I posted a short video online yesterday which you can watch here. As I mention there, I'm not trying to make a bid deal of this, but I wanted to mention it all the same. If you're in that part of the world particularly, and you can make it along to any of the shows I have out that way, it'd be wonderful to see you. I've always loved playing in the South West, and will miss doing so after this October.
For now though, there are places to be and songs to be sung, including a brand new one called The Compromise. It'll get its premiere tomorrow evening (11th September) at Annfield Plain Community Centre in Co. Durham where I'm sharing the bill with the remarkable Gabriel Moreno, along with the virtuoso violin player, Richard Moore. If you fancy coming along, there are still tickets available here. Beyond that, I'll no doubt be airing the song at subsequent shows (covers gigs aside), unless it gets completely panned tomorrow night, of course.) :-)
Anyway, I guess that's about it for now. Please do come along and catch an upcoming show or two. I'm returning to some of my favourite venues, as well as visiting some new ones. I'm so looking forward to every one of them, and to catching up with as many of you as can join me. More than ever, I feel the need for coming together with good, kind-hearted people, whom I still maintain, make up the vast majority.
See you soon... love and thanks.
