Autumn Tour Dates!

ree

Whether one likes it or not (I love it), Autumn appears to be very much upon us, and so it seems more than a little appropriate to draw your collective attention to my Autumn Tour Dates, if I may.

You'll find them listed below, along with the relevant links, and on the Events page, of course, with all the necessary details. It's a lovely mix of favourite haunts, and new venues and locations. So, wherever you are in the world - particularly if it's somewhere in England, where these gigs take place - please take a look at where I'm going to be, and when, and hopefully you can make it along to a show somewhere.

I'll be playing songs from across all my albums, plus some new songs too. The world being how it is in 2025, I'm finding some catharsis and solace in playing these songs, and I hope they may find you too and be of some help. If nothing else, there is strength in us coming together, of this I'm certain. It's a blessing of which I'm fortunate to be often reminded.

In other news, I was thrilled to be asked by my dear and gifted friend, Gabriel Moreno, to create a musical backdrop for an extraordinary poem he has written called 'Letter to Wilfred', which appears on his brand-new album, 'Letters to Miranda'. I thoroughly recommend you checking out Gabriel, his music and poetry, including this beautiful collection of new work he has written, and curated.

I played at BAAFest earlier this month, and following the sad withdrawal from the festival of my good friends, Milton Hide, I ended up being 'upgraded' to the Main Stage. Performing to a capacity crowd of 300 was a real thrill, and they could not have been more welcoming. A wonderful festival, and one to which I hope to be able to return.

Changes One Record Label was a busy independent label here in the North East until circumstances intervened in 2004. However, founder Ian Tunstall, who came across my work a little under a year ago, has kindly resurrected it in order to help further my musical cause, so I'm thrilled to report that I'm now working in association with Changes One. Exactly how this will manifest itself will become clearer over the weeks and months ahead, but in terms of what I'm doing and why, it's very much business as usual, but I'm honoured now to have Ian in my corner.

Finally remember that all my albums as CD and downloads, plus my lyric book, 'Stolen Bouquets', remain available from the shop, so if you're short of any of those - or are looking to get an early start of the festive shopping - you know where to go.

That's probably enough from me, right? (Who said 'yes'?!) I'll leave you then with my Autumn dates. Thanks to all who've already booked, and if you can make it to any of these dates, please do consider booking in advance if you can; it really helps the venues build an idea of how the gig is shaping up. That said, if booking on the door is an option, and that's your thing, then you are always welcome to do just that.

Love and thanks to you all. As always, hang in there...

Steve xx
