Launched at a special concert at Dunster Castle, Somerset, on 4th November 2016 (officially released on 7th November) it’s a record I remain very happy with indeed, and as surprised as ever that it subsequently went on to win two Album Of The Year awards and a nomination for a third.
By way of a small celebration of all this, the CD will be available to order from the Shop for just £10 (inc. p&p)* between 4th - 11th November. (Usual price: £12) So, if you haven’t yet got around to grabbing a copy for yourself - or if you fancy buying a copy for somebody else - now would be the perfect time to do so! (I’d be very happy to sign it too, should you so wish.)
You can listen to an audio sampler of the album which was put out on the run-up to its release here; read about the album and its launch here, or simply head to the Shop where you’ll find it for sale in both CD and digital format.... along with a few others goodies to, of course.
If you’d like to hear new material, well, at the moment your best bet is to make it along to a gig where I’ve been road-testing new songs, and will continue to do so. (Tomorrow - 4th November - I'm playing an afternoon gig at The Quakerhouse in Darlington for any who can make it along!) I’m hoping that 2019 will offer an opportunity to put out some brand-new recordings, but in the mean time, I hope to be able to bring you news of a wee project that should be coming up soon which I trust may be of interest to you...
There are still a number of chances to catch me live before the year draws to a close, including a couple of recently announced gigs. So please take a look below at what’s coming up, and if you can make it along to any, I’ll see you there.
Thank you for all your support throughout this year so far (we’ll speak again before it’s done, of course!) and to all who’ve been behind this album for the last two years; including all who’ve bought it, written about it, broadcast it and just basically been so kind about it. I can’t tell you how much it’s meant.
All the very best for now...
Steve x
