I'm thrilled to be able to announce details of the upcoming release of my third album, 'Somewhere Between'!
You may already know that the launch concert will be happening on Friday 4th November, but what you probably won't be aware of is where it's taking place. By arrangement with its managers and with the kind agreement of the National Trust, I'm excited to say that the launch concert will be held in the main hall of Dunster Castle in Somerset.
Part of this extraordinary and beautiful building will - for one night only - play host to me, a couple of guitars and, should you wish to join me... you! I can't think of a more beautiful place to do this and I would be beyond pleased if you were able to come along.
As you will imagine, securing such an event in such a location inevitably impacts on the ticket price a little but we have done everything to ensure that the price has been kept as reasonable as possible. There are two ticket options, as follows:
Ticket only: £12.00 (click here)*
Ticket PLUS a copy of the new album: £20.00 (click here)*
The album will of course be available to buy on the night in the usual fashion for £10.00.
Tickets are on sale from the shop NOW where you can also now pre-order the album itself for £12.00, including P&P.
If you haven't yet visited Dunster Castle, it is a stunning building and the main hall, like the rest of the castle, is beautiful... the perfect location for such an evening. My immense gratitude goes to David and Brenda Moore who manage everything there, the amazing staff and to the National Trust.
Because of the size and nature of the room, places are limited with only 80 tickets available so please do book soon to ensure your place.
I couldn't be happier with the way things are coming together and my belief is that it will be a worthy successor to 'Striking Matches In The Wind'... I hope you will agree.
So, there it is! You can now pre-order 'Somewhere Between' and also secure your ticket for the album launch concert at Dunster Castle. I look forward to seeing many of you on 4th November, if not before, and do please keep your eyes 'n' ears open for more album info coming very soon.
My very best wishes to you in these strange, unsettling and turbulent times. I'm conscious that some of the songs on this new record have been growing in relevance over the weeks and months that this project has been coming together. In a perverse way, it's 'good' to know that it will be pertinent to the time. Ultimately though, I wish it were not. As ever, there will be hope and light to be found in the songs, and in that sense at least, I'm glad to think that they may resonate with you as they do with me.
To peaceful days...
