RELEASED TODAY: YOU CAN ORDER THE CD OR DOWNLOAD THE ALBUM NOW!
The reaction 'Somewhere Between' has had so far from reviewers, radio presenters and - most importantly - from the public has been overwhelming... I could not be happier. I will be adding to the Reviews page over the coming days and sharing more as they come in, but in the mean time, please take a look at this cracking review of the launch night courtesy of FATEA. My thanks to all who helped make it the special night it was and to those who’ve been in touch since; left messages and who’ve captured some great photos too. (The ones included in the blog are by Neil King of FATEA Magazine.) You can also listen to an interview I did with Steve Yabsley on BBC Radio Bristol on the week leading up to the launch here.
If you came to the launch or pre-ordered the CD - thank you! If you’ve yet to get your hands on a copy of the new album, now’s your chance. It's available solely from the shop on this website and at gigs, for the time being, before going on general release in the new year.
More soon, but for now, I commend to you... ‘Somewhere Between’.
Thank you!
Steve x

“A protest album burning with anger and compassion, on the opening track he sings how it’s people not songs that change the world, but how, sometimes, songs can change a heart. These are such songs...” (Folking.com)
“Steve Pledger does it again!” (Roots & Fusion)
“The sheer essence of what makes Steve such a special talent.” (Sonic Bandwagon)
“Pledger’s tour-de-force. An album that casts Steve as a genuine protest singer, up there with the likes of Billy Bragg, Phil Ochs and Ewan MacColl.” (FATEA Magazine)
“An astute and observant lyricist... a musician whose considered musical prowess has brought him to a place where he feels at ease.” (Louder Than War)
